The LZOTT Loading and Receiving Line of the Belt Frame Saw serves to load logs onto the belt frame saw and to receive products after the log has been sawn.
The LZOTT Loading and Receiving Line of the Belt Frame Saw consists of two primary units:
The loading conveyor
The loading conveyor supplies logs to the truck of the belt frame saw Logs are loaded by means of external transport to the feeder arms, which are equipped with a special transport chain with drivers. When the operator starts the conveyor, it transports the log in the direction of the frame saw until the log is found in the area of operation of the hydraulic arm, which loads the log directly onto the frame saw truck. On the log loading side, the conveyor arms have been equipped with special closing sheets, in which there is a screw mechanism tightening the transport chain. A motoreducer drives the shaft through a chain transmission, and there are four special wheels mounted on the shaft, which drive the transport chain on four arms. The drive shaft consists of three segments connected with a coupling. The arm loading a log onto the frame saw truck is driven by two hydraulic actuators powered by a hydraulic unit.

Receiving conveyor
The receiving conveyor serves to receive boards after the log is sawn, and it consists of two segments. After boards are sawn, they are dropped onto the roller conveyor, which is equipped with two toothed wheels. Every conveyor is equipped with four transverse chain arms driven by a motoreducer. The chain in the transverse arms is raised mechanically by means of pneumatic actuators. When a transported board is found in the range of the sensor, the roller conveyor is stopped and the transverse conveyor arms are raised, activated, and drop boards into the reception area.
